Wonki Ware

Di Marshall started a small studio on the magnificent ‘Garden Route’ in South Africa. Her small company  soon became a meeting point for local ceramists and other creative people. Here it was where she met Xhosa,  Artwel, and Les with whom she formed a team.

Di designed specific patterns and the others created the powerful and colorful forms that make the ceramics so special. Nowadays, the Wonki Ware tableware, with in the meantime 40 employees, can be found in the most respectable stores of the world.
